I saw this post last Friday on a large Facebook group called “BlendJet Recipes“. After seeing the post, I have decided to write an article about why a Blendjet charger is not working and how to fix it on my website. Keeping that purpose ahead, I have written this article. So, if you are a Blendjet personal blender user and your Blendjet charger is not working, then you can read this article to find out the actual causes and solutions.

Why Is Your Blendjet Charger Not Working & How To Fix?

Blendjet is a popular personal blender manufacturer brand. Its blenders come with a water-resistant USB-C charging port, which is used to charge the blender. As the USB-C charging port/charger is an electrical component, it can malfunction anytime.

A Blendjet charger may not be working for several causes. The most common causes for a Blendjet blender charger not working are the charger is faulty or damaged itself, power source issues, the charger is not connected well with the blender and power source, and debris or dust on the charging port.

Also, a Blendjet charger is not working for battery issues, overheating, battery drainage, power surge or electrical issues in your area, user errors, manufacturing defects and more.

Let’s learn all the possible causes and solutions for why a Blendjet charger is not working:

  1. The charger is faulty or damaged itself:

If your Blendjet charger (USB cable) is faulty or damaged, it will not be working, resulting in it not charging your Blendjet personal blender. Your Blendjet charger can be faulty or damaged for wrong use of it, excessive use of it, long-term usage of it, voltage issues, user errors, and more.

Check your Blendjet charger and ensure it is not faulty or damaged. Try another charge to be sure your used one is faulty or okay. If the blender charges with the alternative charger, then you should understand that your original Blendjet charger is faulty or damaged.

Replace the faulty or damaged charge with a new one immediately. You will find the replacement charging cable (portable blender charger cord/USB charging cable cord) for your Blendjet on the Blendjet brand’s official website, online marketplaces, and local market.

2. Power source issues:

Power source issues can also be a cause of your Blendjet charger not working. Check the power source (power outlet) and ensure there is power present in the power source and it is functioning properly. Try plugging your Blendjet charger into another power source to be sure the power source (power outlet) you are using is working properly or is faulty. Use a properly functioning power source.

3. Loose charging cable connection:

Sometimes, a loose connection of the charging cable between the blender base and power source can also be a cause of your Blendjet charger not working. Check the connection of the charging cable between the blender base and power source and ensure that it is connected well with both the blender base and power source. Try using a different USB charging cable if required.

4. Debris or dust in the charging port:

Dirty or dust in the charging port can also be a cause of your Blendjet charger not working properly. Over time, debris or dust can accumulate in the charging port, which can interfere with the charging process of your Blendjet blender.

Take the charging cable in your hand and carefully inspect the charging port and ensure it is neat and clean. If there is any debris or dust in the charging port, then clean it well. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean out any dirt or debris from the charging port.

5. Battery issues:

Probably your Blendjet charger is okay, but the issue is with its battery. It is nothing unusual. Check the battery and ensure it is not damaged. Replace the damaged battery. You will find the replacement battery in any local electric appliance shop or Blendjet Offical website.

If your Blendjet charger is not working within 30 days after purchasing the blender, contact Blendjet Customer Service or the shop where you purchased it and return the belnder. Remember, a Blendjet blender comes with only 30 days replacement warranty.

6. Overheating:

If your Blendjet blender charger or Blendjet blender becomes too hot while charging the blender, then overheating can stop charging the blender for safety purposes. In this case, let your Blendjet blender charger cool down for a few minutes before attempting to charge the blender again.

Remember, A Blendjet personal blender takes 1.5 hours to charge fully, so don’t charge your Blendjet for more than 1.5 hours. Charging your Blendjet for more than 1.5 hours continuously can damage your Blendjet charger.

7. Battery drainage:

If your Blendjet battery is completely drained, it may not respond instantly when connected to a power source. Plug your Blendjet charger into a functioning power outlet and leave it connected for at least 10-20 minutes or longer to allow the battery to accumulate enough charge to power on. Then, try turning on your Blendjet blender to see if it starts charging.

8. A power surge or electrical issues in your area:

In some rare cases, a power surge or electrical issue in your area may affect the charging process of your Blendjet. Try using a surge protector or plugging the charger into a different power outlet to avoid any electrical problems.

9. Your Errors:

If you fail to properly connect the charger with both the blender and the power source, then the charger will not find the power to charge the blender resulting in your Blendjet charger won’t work and charging Blendjet. Connect the charger with the blender and power source properly. If required, read your Blendjet user manual before connecting the charger to the blender and power source.

10. Manufacturing defects:

If your Blendjet is brand new and your new Blendjet charger is not working at its very first trial, then you can be sure it has come with a manufacturing defect. In this case, instead of buying another new charger, contact the Blendjet customer support team and inform them about your Blendjet charger issue. They will replace the charge with a new one.
